If you guys struggle to turn on Netflix and even after 3 hours you are not able to find a good film. And when movie night comes you are left with just bad choices, then this list is for you. Without further ado, here are the top 10 biggest Bollywood blockbusters you must watch.
10: Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham
Is this a surprise to any single one of you? No. If you are a desi then I’m 200% sure that you must’ve seen Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham. It’s just not possible that you haven’t seen it. This film was released in 2001 and the cast is a really good one. Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Kajol, Kareena Kapoor, and Hrithik Roshan. Like these were the superstars of the decade. K3G is a family drama and the story focuses on all the characters. Shahrukh Khan is the adopted son of Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan. He decides to marry Kajol against their wishes.
Thus, he is thrown out of the house. Hrithik is SRK’s younger brother, who his entire life has missed his elder brother. Kareena is SRK’s and Kajol’s daughter. I don’t want to ruin the film for you guys by narrating the story in detail so do watch it. Even if you haven’t seen it, you’ve definitely heard all the songs. Like Bole Chudiyan, you are my Soniya and you’ve definitely heard about Bebo’s outlandish character Poo.

9: Kal Ho Naa Ho
Number 9 on our list of Biggest Bollywood Blockbusters is “Kal Ho Na Ho”. This is a cult classic so there was no way it wasn’t going to be on the list. This romantic drama was released in 2003. The leads of this film are Shahrukh Khan (Aman), Preity Zinta (Naina), Jaya Bachhan (mother of Naina), and Saif Ali Khan (Rohit). The story firstly follows Naina and Rohit who are best friends and then Aman and Naina become neighbors. And after a few songs, they become really good friends. Rohit and Aman fall in love with Naina and Naina fall in love with Aman. That puts a major spanner in the works and the fact that Naina has daddy issues. But Aman has a big problem so, Naina marries Rohit instead in the end.
I’m purposefully becoming vague because you guys should see this film for sure! Even the songs are so nice. I still listen to Maahi Ve at least once a month, and who can forget “it’s time to disco and pretty woman”. This film won 2 national film awards, 13 IIFA Awards, 8 Filmfare awards, 6 Producers guild film awards, 3 screen awards, and 2 Zee Cine awards as well.
